EEC 655 – Satellite Communications

Course Description and Objectives

Satellite channel, satellite link analysis, satellite electronics, frequency division multiple access (FDMA), time division multiple access (TDMA), code division multiple access (CDMA), frequency-hopped communications, on-board processing, satellite cross-links, VSAT networks, mobile satellite networks, and satellite Internet.

Grading

Letter assignments will be made in accordance with the grading policies of the university. The course contains a project (a report and resentation). The topics will be announced in the second week of class.
